I am a third year Animation/Illustration major. I transferred from Diablo Valley Community college to SJSU. Currently I am in Ani 115 and will hopefully be in 129A, also. I'm most interested in being a storyboard artist, which is interesting since SJSU has no storyboarding classes. I do love painting and drawing, and fortunately SJSU has a lot of that.
Most of my childhood was actually spent reading, rather than drawing, so that would probably explain the origin of my love for stories. I love stories, and I want to make other people love them as much as I do.
Eventually I decided to turn my daily effort towards studies to improve my painting skills.
I don't have a lot of experience with science. I took one conceptual physics class in high school. In college I took one biology class and one astronomy class, which it turns out was the least technical astronomy class ever.
I tried to read a book once that was about the science of superheroes. The first few pages of each chapter were very enjoyable, but each chapter became extremely technical and mathematic and I could no longer follow it despite my best efforts.
And here's my final for my 114 class last fall. I like to thinkmy lack of physics knowledge didn't hold me back nearly as much as my contempt for animating boxes.
